Yoga Classes & Workshops

I am currently running several classes in Norwich and this list is updated regularly.

  • Mondays: 12.30pm to 1.15pm David LLoyd, Drayton High Road, Norwich, NR6 5DU.
  • Members only Fitness yoga class.
  • Tuesdays: 11.15am to 12.15pm, Bannatyne Health Club, Thorpe St Andrew.
  • Members only, Gentle yoga class.
  • Tuesdays: 1.15pm to 2.15pm, Strumpshaw Community Hall, Mill Road, NR13 4FS.
  • Block booking and drop in available, contact me for more details, Hatha yoga class.
  • Wednesdays: 10am to 11am, Bannatyne Health Club, Thorpe St Andrew.
  • Members only, General yoga class.
  • Wednesdays: 11.30am to 12.30pm, Catton Grove community Centre, Jewson Road, NR3 3RQ.
  • Class for local residents, please get in touch with the centre [email protected], Mixed ability yoga, including chair modifications.
  • Thursdays: 6pm to 7pm, St Matthews Church, Telegraph Lane West, NR1 4JA
  • Open to anyone, to any level. Free Parking onsite. £6/class pay as you go or £30 for 6 classes to be used within 8 weeks.
  • Thursdays: 7.45pm to 8.45pm, Bannatyne Health Club, Thorpe St Andrew.
  • Members only, General yoga class.
  • Restorative and Yin classes also offered, watch this space for when those will be available again.
  • One to One or small classes from your home or via Zoom are available too, please get in touch through the contact me link for more information.

*A note on Yin: postures are mainly seated and lying down, they are held for a longer time (from 90 seconds to 6 minutes) and props such as blankets, mats and bricks and blocks are used. Designed to release the fascia (connective tissue under the skin). Little movements and a lot of time to release and let go.

**A note on restorative: Like a hot drink by the fire on a rainy day, this is pure luxury. Mostly reclined postures held with props and for a long time. Less intense than Yin can be and designed to relax the muscles and the mind.
