Yoga Classes & Workshops

I am currently running several classes in Norwich and this list will be updated regularly.

  • Mondays: 6.25pm to 7.25pm Bannatyne Health Club, Thorpe St Andrew.
  • Members only Fitness yoga class.
  • Tuesdays: 11.15am to 12.15pm, Bannatyne Health Club, Thorpe St Andrew.
  • Members only, Gentle yoga class.
  • Wednesdays: 9.50am to 10.50am, Bannatyne Health Club, Thorpe St Andrew.
  • Members only, General yoga class.
  • Wednesdays: 11.30 to 12.30, Catton Grove Community Centre.
  • Mixed ability yoga, including chair modifications, contact the centre for more info.
  • Thursdays: 6pm to 7pm, Lionwood Infant and Nursery School, Telegraph Lane East, NR1 4AN
  • Open to anyone, to any level. Free Parking onsite, mats available. £6/class pay as you go or £30 for 6 classes to be used within 8 weeks.
  • Thursdays: 7.30pm to 8.30pm, Bannatyne Health Club, Thorpe St Andrew.
  • Members only, General yoga class.
  • Fridays Once a Month, 6.30pm to 8pm at The Lionwood Infant and Nursery School, Telegraph Lane East, NR1 4AN
  • Yin* and or Restorative** yoga class followed by a long relaxation/meditation.
  • £9 booked and paid in advance, £10 drop-in.
  • Friday 6th March: Yin and relaxation.
  • Friday 3rd April: Restorative and yoga nidra.
  • Friday 1st May : Yin and yoga nidra.
  • Friday 5th June : Restorative and Meditation.

*A note on Yin: postures are mainly seated and lying down, they are held for a longer time (from 90 seconds to 6 minutes) and props such as blankets, mats and bricks and blocks are used. Designed to release the fascia (connective tissue under the skin). Little movements and a lot of time to release and let go.

**A note on restorative: Like a hot drink by the fire on a rainy day, this is pure luxury. Mostly reclined postures held with props and for a long time. Less intense than Yin can be and designed to relax the muscles and the mind.
